Dr. Marcus S. Noel Joins the GI Team at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center

This week Marcus S. Noel, MD joined the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as Associate Professor of Medicine and Co-Director, Clinical Research Management Office, both within the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine. Dr. Noel is a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers. His research efforts focus on novel drug development for pancreatic cancer.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Case Western Reserve University and his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School formerly Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Noel completed his internal medicine residency and medical oncology fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2013. He was recently an assistant professor of medicine at the Wilmot Cancer Institute in Rochester NY.

We look forward to introducing patients to Dr. Noel during the Ruesch Symposium on December 7, 2019, where he will be hosting a breakout session on Pancreatic Cancer.
