Part 1: Innovations in GI Cancer

A unique forum for discussions on cutting-edge research, and the pipeline of promising new therapies and technologies in GI cancers. Topics include the emerging role of the microbiome, the expanding role of immune therapy in GI Cancer and innovative approaches to localized treatment of GI Cancers.

Part 2: Vital Conversations for the Oncology Nurse & APP
Saturday, December 7 | 7:30am–1:00pm
This half-day conference for oncology advanced practice providers and oncology nurses will address complex topics and help you increase your knowledge and strengthen conversations with your patients.
Part 3: Patient Symposium
Saturday, December 7 | 8:30am–2:00pm
The Patient Symposium will provide patients and families with disease-specific information, education, and tools for managing their cancer care. Promising emerging therapeutic approaches will be examined and discussion encouraged.

- Parking is available on-site: The Omni Shoreham Hotels offers valet parking only which includes in/out privileges. The discounted price for Ruesch Symposium guests is $35 per day per car and is inclusive of tax. The rate for Overnight Guests is $55 per car daily which includes in/out privileges.
- There are additional off-site parking options one block from the hotel.
- Colonial Parking- Leading Age Bldg Located at 2519 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008 (entrance from Calvert st.) offers a daily rate of $21.00.
- Ace Parking- 2639 Connecticut Avenue Garage (behind Lebanese Taverna) offers a daily rate of $22.00.
- A hotel block has been created for the Ruesch Symposium through Nov 15, 2019 at the Omni Shoreham hotel. You can access the block here or by calling their main reservations line at “1-800-THE OMNI (843-6664) and asking for the “Ruesch Annual Symposium” room block.
